Local riders, hikers and forest wanderers will have noticed a new signage kiosk at the Sutton Road/Yellow Gate trail head. This replacement signage will provide Forest, Trail and Park users with important information from the Village of Cumberland, United Riders of Cumberland and the Cumberland Community Forest Society.
This trail head is the highest traffic access point into Cumberland’s significant trail network. Thanks to a grant from Mountain Equipment Coop, the new signage will provide visitors with critical information as well as links to individual organization web pages.
*NEW Cumberland Community Forest Society Donor Recognition Signage will be also be installed over the next 12 months at this trail head location as well as the Cumberland Forest trail head in Coal Creek Park and the CRI Parking Lot. This signage will recognize major donors from previous purchases as well us significant new donors who have contributed towards the Phase 2 and 2b purchases currently underway.
