The Foggy Mountain Fall Fair held Saturday October 4th 2014 was a rich co-presentation between the Cumberland Community Forest Society, Cumberland Museum and Archives and the Comox Valley Community Arts Council. Big thanks to all our friends, bakers, painters, donors and supporters who participated in the Annual Fall Plant Sale, Forest Mural Project and Cumberland Pie of the Year Contest!

The Forest Mural Project involved over 20 local artists creating beautiful mini-murals with a Cumberland Forest theme. These murals were on display at the Fair and then sold at the Perseverance Party for the Forest as part of the Silent Auction helping us raise more than $1300! Big thanks to all the artists and the Comox Valley Community Arts Council, and mural project coordinator Rowan Helliwell for all their contributions!

The Fall Plant Sale was held in conjunction with the Foggy Mountain Fall Fair this year and brought in $800. Thanks to all the hard working volunteers, donors and plant loving shoppers who make out plant sale such a huge success twice a year each year!

Finally, what a wonderful year for the Cumberland Pie of the Year Contest! 14 talented bakers of all ages and backgrounds took part in an exciting and fun filled old fashioned pie contest and auction! 1st prize winner was Rachel Griffiths! The Pie auction, handled masterfully by Kevin Flesher brought in just over $900!
