Big News! The CCFS has made a decision to shift to a biennial (alternating years) Home & Garden event starting in 2024.
There have been multiple factors that have led to this decision and it has not been easy. We truly love this event and the community, inspiration, connections, and new friendships that it cultivates.
After 2 years shuttered, last year our community (and the planet!) hit the ground running and we worked so hard to make up for lost time due to the pandemic. Events were re-activated, new programming was layered in, and audiences were hungry for fun. In fact, 2022 was the most successful year yet! It was a roaring 2022 🙂
This year, in addition to the late arrival of spring, we are noticing a general weariness, and a desire to pause, rest and recover from the past few years. We believe we also need to pause and recalibrate this event to ensure it is sustainable into the future – for the CCFS, organizing committee, sponsors, volunteers, home and garden owners and our community.
Ultimately, we want this event to be anticipated and joyful and we believe that giving more space between each Home and Garden Crawl will bolster its long term success and support our mission to celebrate the unique homes, gardens, urban farms, urban forests, studios and gathering spaces of our community.
