The Cumberland Community Forest Society has been challenged with an amazing $50,000 Magic Match for the upcoming Perseverance Week and the Perseverance Trail Run! This is an incredible opportunity to generate $100,000 in funds towards the imminent purchase of 226 acres of forest in the Perseverance Creek Watershed.
These matching funds from a generous private donor will be applied to all revenues from the Perseverance Trail Run and After Party on October 27th, the Perseverance Week CanadaHelps Campaign and special events under development for the October 24-31st window including “Into the Woods” after dark Halloween forest walks, an online auction and special Halloween movie night!
“We could not ask for a better partner in this epic fundraising opportunity than Sarah Seads. Her contribution to the CCFS over the past 15 years through the Perseverance Trail Run has been remarkable and we’re pumped to be taking on this challenge with her incredible energy by our side!” says Meaghan Cursons of the CCFS.
