Calling All Gumboot Fairies!

In celebration of our 25th anniversary the Cumberland Community Forest Society is Calling All Gumboot Fairies! The Gumboot Fairies of the Cumberland Forest are a long standing tradition. Since our early years as an organization our community has joined in the annual MayDay Parade dressed up as a colourful cacophony of forest fairies and forest creatures! We even made a calendar about it, and cards! Forest friends young and old have thrown on some wings, colourful costumes and a pair of gumboots and headed into the streets as a celebration of our collective love for the forest! This year we are working on a mass entry into the parade of forest fairies and winged creatures BIG and small as well as participating in several other events!

How can you get involved?
