The Cumberland Community Forest Society is dedicated to protecting the Cumberland Forest from imminent logging. We do this by purchasing the lands from timber companies, applying a conservation covenant and restoring them to the commons as a community nature park.
You can donate in many ways including monthly and custom donations as well as In Memoriam Funds and gifted donations.

We work with countless community organizations, businesses, schools and individuals on fundraising initiatives and events for the Cumberland Community Forest Society.
These projects range from a percentage of sales campaigns and major sports events to car washes and even pie and cake baking contests. Community based fundraising activities are the key to our grassroots success and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to help develop ideas and spread the word about your fundraising efforts. We’re here to help.
The CCFS produces several large fundraising events each year and engages actively in partner events to raise funds and awareness. Volunteers are critical to our organization and we welcome new volunteers to get involved.
CCFS Events include Trivia Nights, the Cumberland Home and Garden Show, Plant Sales and fundraising parties and cultural events. CCFS partner events include the Perseverance Trail Run, Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race, The Cumby and other exciting events.
