From April 14th to 23rd we’re joining forces with friends and neighbours from across the Village (and beyond) for a series of events, connection points and learning opportunities t deepen our connection with the earth and with each other!

Friday April 21st – Medicinal Plant Walk with Master Herbalist Amanda Howe
Friday April 21st – CCFS Spring Trivia (SOLD OUT) – come volunteer!
Saturday April 22nd – Lake Park Community Clean Up 10-1 pm
Saturday April 22nd – Earth Day Picnic in Village Square 1-4 pm w/ music, “Forest in the Village” launch, kids crafts.

All funds raised by the CCFS during Earth Week directly support the stewardship projects of the CCFS including the Cumberland Bat Project / BC Community Bat Program, Western Toad Initiative, Invasive species work, the Perseverance Streamkeepers, Forest in the Village and ecosystem centered signage projects in an around the green and blue spaces of our community.
