Earth Week Festival 2025

Join the Cumberland Community Forest Society and community friends and partners for 7 days of earth loving learning, connection and fun! Workshops, film screenings, work parties and guided walks are all part of the programming that is centered on the many ways we care for the earth together as a community. Events include:

• Invasives Work Party on Porky’s Path with the CCFS
• “Together a Forest” Book Reading at Smol Store
• Decolonizing local landscapes – forest walk with Meaghan Cursons
• Spring Bird Walk with CCFS Director and biologist Jason Straka
• Moss Walk with biologist Randal Mindell
• Ecosystem Decoding in the Forest with ecologist Erik Piikkila
• CCSS Repair Cafe at Cumberland Community School
• Weird Cinema “Metamorphosis” film screening
