Medicinal Plant Walk w/Amanda Howe

August 11 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm PDT

donation

Wild Medicinal Plants are growing everywhere on our trails and in our forests, they are a vast and wonderful medicine chest at our feet, and we don’t even see them! Enjoy learning to see the medicinal plants growing on the trails you walk every day, and the incredible web of life they are connected to. Amanda Howe is a Herbalist and teacher with Pacific Rim College and the owner of Black Bear Herbs in Cumberland.

Registration required. Walk is by donation to the Cumberland Forest. https://form.jotform.com/212101154450033

This walk will be slow paced and we don’t cover much physical distance because we keep stopping to learn about the plants. We welcome people with mobility issues, the trail is gravel, but it is wide and flat with good access. We are happy to be able to offer Medicinal Plant Walks again – we respect that everyone has different comfort levels so we’re keeping the numbers very low for this walk, and will request that everyone respect physical distancing during the walk.

Walk is by donation to the Cumberland Forest.
