Winter Bird Walk with Jack Bindernagel – Feb 1

Golden Crowned Kinglet
Join us for a winter bird walk at Cumberland marsh on Feb 1st. Our warblers, flycatchers and vireos may have left for warmer, sunnier places, but there’s still lots of life in the woods in the form of sparrows, finches, kinglets and woodpeckers. All ages and experience levels welcome.
Feb 1, 9 – 10:30 am.
Bring your binoculars and cameras if you like, and don’t forget weather appropriate clothes and footwear.
Jack Bindernagel a recently graduated biology student originally from Courtenay. He’s been birding as a hobby since he was around 12, mostly in the Comox Valley. His other areas of interest include vascular plants, lichens, bryophytes, and fish.

Cost $20 per person, or $15 for active volunteers or donors to CCFS.

Meeting location will be email to you upon registration.
