Early Bird Passes for upcoming 6th Annual Cumberland Fungus Fest are on sale now until September 12th. Weekend passes provide access to all the onside workshops, kids activities, presentations, Science Pub, Fungus Bazaar art market and music events and ensure you are FIRST IN LINE to register for the guided walk series and long table supper.
Think of it like a Fungus Fringe Festival. Your weekend pass gets you access to a ton of programming and gives you the option to register for some limited space guided walks with visiting subject matter experts covering a wide range of topics related to fungus and forest ecology!.
Guest presenters cover topics ranging from fungus and slime molds to lichens and mosses and from medical mushrooms to deep ecology, mythology and decomposition. Guests for 2025 include Andy MacKinnon, Dawn Copeman, Randal Mindell, Lindsay Fraser, Thom O’Dell, Heather Soo, Erik Piikkila, RootZ, Adrian Oberg, Yarrow Willard, Andi Grace Rose, Juliana Bedoya, Phillipa Joy, Loys and Alison Maingon and many many more!
Thursday Night features our much anticipated Fungus Science Pub, Friday afternoon offers walks and talks and an evening Fungus Bazaar with art, crafts, on theme bar and visiting musical guests Michael red and Tsimka! Saturday is another day of walks and talks with a Saturday eve dinner and square dance, Sunday offers walks talks and the much anticipated Fungus Round Up mid afternoon. Kids programs, art projects and social connections are threaded throughout.

Weekend passes are $40 for adults and $20 for youth. Babies in arms are free of course. After September 12th prices go up to $50 and $25 respectively.
