In the spring of 2022 the CCFS was fortunate to receive support from Environment and Climate Change Canada toward the 44 acre Lower perseverance Creek acquisition. Environment and Climate Change Canada their partners (like us!) are part of nation wide shared responsibility for biodiversity in Canada and the commitment of governments to achieve the goals and objectives of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity. This contribution came as part of our active partnership with the Comox Valley Land Trust and we are grateful for their friendship and ongoing support.
