tely blown away and humbled by the incredible support of The Cumby community – from team leaders and volunteers, to sponsors and racers! Earlier this month we met up in Village Square and were presented with a cheque for $59,300, net proceeds from the 11th annual run this held past May!
These are the FINAL event fundraising dollars we needed to meet our budget for $2.1 million 261 acre Middle Earth project! The Cumby has been with us since 2015 – and has been instrumental in making Space Nugget (2016), Project Perseverance (2020), Lower Perseverance (2022) and Middle Earth (2026) a reality!
On behalf of the Cumberland Forest community and from the bottom of our hearts – we thank you – for being part of this remarkable legacy of land and water protection. We could not do this without you! ❤
